Photography

Photography by definition according to the Webster online dictionary means the art or process of producing images by the action of radiant energy and especially light on a sensitive surface.

I think everyone has aesthetic impulses. We all have a need to create. To make something. Some more than others.

I have acted on these impulses since before I can remember. Drawing, dancing, singing, painting, sculpting, acting...I've done it all...and I love it all. However, who's to say what art is good and what art is bad? I don't think that's how it works. When it comes to art everything is opinion based to me. Either I like it or I don't, but that doesn't mean it's not good. It purely means that it's not my taste. However, I can still appreciate the emotion and point of the product.

In my current photography classes we are submitting our final prints for our semester print show gallery. We enter three photos to be judged to see if they get into the final gallery... Fingers crossed I get everything finished so I don't fail...sigh.
