A Red Sock in my White Laundry

After being mildly sleep deprived due to a test I had to take today; I knew I had no hope to have a good day. Three hours of studying last night and another hour or so proved to be ineffective to say the least.
Forgetting I had a paper due to my Theatre teacher by the end of the day added, yet, another unpleasant thing for me to do today.
Remembering that I needed to meet with my English group to peer review our latest papers instead of enjoying the hour which class would normally be. [No English class today due to my teacher being a part of her sister's wedding today.]
Reminded that I had to prepare for another test, a performance in theatre, and two quizzes, and finish several homework assignments and my final draft of my last paper in English; my stress level rose to new heights today

After taking the dreaded math test and getting my disappointing grade of 72% I walked home on the brink of tears. Upon arriving, more people were there than I expected. I quietly sat at my old laptop hoping I could hide in the many crannies of the internet. As I pressed the power button my computer didn't respond. With a blank screen my computer remained silent. Great I thought, now my computer's broken too.

Missing home anyways, I called my dad looking for comfort. I haven't been able to see my boyfriend in a week and won't be able to see him 'til next Tuesday. Since Daddy's fix everything...this, I knew, definitely needed fixing. After venting to my dad for an hour or so, my computer was fixed and my much needed tears found the surface of my cheeks to kiss.

Today's just been a red sock in my white laundry kind of day. Luckily, MY Daddy fixes everything. Love you Daddy!!!
