My big sister just got married last weekend! To a pretty awesome guy if I do say so myself. The wedding itself was beautiful, classy, elegant, and most importantly, everything Smash wanted. It completely described her. If you knew her and went to the wedding not knowing it was her's you'd say something like, "SHE WOULD TOTALLY HAVE THIS WEDDING!!!" In short it was perfect.
The following Monday, my older brother had his open house. (Like a reception only you don't do the reception stuff) And that party...well...we'll just say it was just as perfect for his bride that my sister's was for her.
I now have 14 close friends who are engaged or married...and 3 or so are expecting. STOP IT! No more! Goodness. I feel very sorry for whoever brings the news ANOTHER friend is engaged or expecting. We have time to grow up and have fun before all that marriage nonsense! I promise! Just because you're turning 21 doesn't mean getting married is an urgent decision you must make in the next 3 months. We all have time to grow and learn and just...live.

On another note. I've finally moved out of my parents' place. I'm renting a room out of my friend's house which is great. I'm working on more art stuff and saving to buy a sewing machine. One of my most favorite art projects is my art book where its like a sketch journal but you do whatever you feel like doing in it. Paint, glue, sketch...whatevers.
School is about to start in the fall and I'm going into fashion photography and advertising. Since it's just a community college it's just an associates and in 2 years I'm hoping to get an internship with a company like Modcloth or Shabby Apple. By then maybe I'll be on the list of engaged/married, but no one hold your breath.
I'm still working on my theatre stuff, couldn't give that up for anything. In fact, my roommate is in an acting class and is having me help him with stuff he needs to do. Writing scripts, doing makeup, soon as I get that sewing machine I'll be working on costuming. Another friend wants me to audition for her friend's short film. And! With any luck I can audition for a community theatre musical this fall. Wish me luck...or rather...wish me to break a leg...but not really. ;)
Now that everyone is all caught up. I can write without being worried I reference something I haven't already written about. Whew. Til next time...
Don't forget your little bit of sunshine on a cloudy day.
