Living the Dream

Well, it really depends on what dream you're talking about. If you're talking about the dream when I was in high school and there was a huge war going on and Voldemort was after me and my 4 best friends and my choir teacher was part of "the order of rebellion" apparently it wasn't called "the order of the phoenix" in said dream. Then, no, I'm not living THAT dream...
But that would be pretty awesome.

No, I'm actually working on my childhood dream
of acting. No worries, I'm still going to school to get my associates in Advertising with a focus in Fashion Photography. I grew up knowing I'd go to college and now I've found something that can put food on my table as well as something I absolutely LOVE doing. It's a win-win situation.
As I work on compiling portfolios, both for acting and modeling (something I never thought I'd do let alone LOVE doing) I wonder of the possibilities. Here is one of my favorite shots my friend Katarina Brandan took. She's pretty awesome.

Within hours of posting this photograph on Facebook I got comments and compliments of encouragement to pursue my desire for modeling great fashion. In pursuing that...I figured I might as well find an agent to not only represent me as a model but also as an actor.

I also wondered IF I WERE to become a professional model...would I remember everything I was brought up with? All the different emotional trials I've gone through in 21 years...I'm now making a goal to journal and blog at least once a week...let's see if we can do it!

I know, I KNOW, I'm NOT fat. However, I am not the healthiest person I know and the toll modeling and acting might have on me will begin to show I'm sure sooner or later. SO, I'm also beginning to eat healthier. Less soda, more water. Less sugar, more salad. Less processed food, more protein. AND during those 4 hours of the day I sit around and do absolutely nothing...I'm off to the gym to run, bike, and lift small weights. I don't really want to lose weight but I'd love to gain a little muscle. I've also added a few crunches for before bed and taking vitamins in my night time and morning routines.
In my ideal world I'd have enough money to pay for dance, ballroom, and yoga, and STILL have the time to go to the gym... For now this will have to do.

Fingers crossed.
